Notes

Although he has no tower shown in the Memorial book it appears he was a regular ringer at Bishopsgate but also rang in a number of other towers. He had travelled the world and was known to have visited Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United States, specifically California. While in Australia he was a member of the St Paul’s Cathedral Society, Melbourne, in the mid 1920’s. He died during a bombing raid at the house where he was living, 5 Melrose Terrace, Hammersmith.
