- The 1939-1945 War Memorial Book shows another entry with the same name and initials but for the Lyonshall tower of the Hereford Diocesan Guild. Further information obtained in 2016 has shown that both entries refer to the same ringer: he had lived in Lyonshall, rang 25 peals for the Hereford Diocesan Guild and moved to Devonport in 1939.
