The 1939-1945 War Memorial Book shows another entry with the same name and initials but for a tower in Plymouth and the Guild of Devonshire Ringers. Further information obtained in 2016 has shown that both entries refer to the same ringer: he had lived in Lyonshall, rang 25 peals for the Hereford Diocesan Guild and moved to Devonport in 1939.
