Now Hiring: Youth Development Officer | Ringing 2030

Are you passionate about working with young people and ready to make a lasting impact? We’re recruiting a Youth Development Officer to help build the next generation of ringers and support the international Ringing 2030 strategy.

This is a hands‑on role focused on youth engagement and development. You’ll lead initiatives that encourage young people to start ringing, stay involved, and progress through clear pathways. You’ll help build and sustain a network of young ringers and youth groups in the UK and beyond, promote youth‑focused events and opportunities, and work closely with volunteers, associations, and youth organisations.

The role also includes schools and educational outreach, supporting lesson‑plan initiatives and helping teachers and local ringing teams deliver engaging introductory experiences for young people.

We’re looking for someone organised, confident working independently, with strong communication skills and a genuine passion for developing young people.

16 hours per week | £16/hour | Fixed‑term (1 year)
