Commonwealth of Nations Flag of Peace

The Charter of the Commonwealth, signed on 11 March 2013, is a landmark document. It is the definitive expression of our values and aspirations – and the essential commitment of all Commonwealth countries.

To mark the 10th anniversary of the signing of the Charter by our Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, a Commonwealth of Nations Flag of Peace is being sent to every city in the UK to be raised on Monday 13th March.  Throughout the day, there will be various ceremonies, culminating in an invitation to ring bells at 8pm.

A suggestion is that amongst any ringing done that day, and specifically for this event, a minimum of 10 whole pulls of Queens should be rung.
