Right before Christmas there was a flurry of excitement that the UK government was getting ready to sign the 2003 UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
Bellringing seems like an obvious fit (and some other bellringing traditions are already listed).
Things are at an early stage, but we’d like to hear from ringers of all experiences to explore what this means for bellringing, what steps we can take about it and all the other doing things and volunteering that has to happen from that.
