  1. Leadership evidence: Excellent and extensive. Luca runs two practice nights, conducts methods confidently, organises QPs, leads young ringers as the Sussex team captain, and supports regional practices. He clearly mentors, encourages, and develops others.
Use of funds: Very strong case. Transport challenges are real for young ringers and money would directly expand his leadership capacity.
✅ Outstanding leadership, excellent clarity, strong justification.

  2. Highly commended

Leadership: considerable evidence, runs local practice nights, organises peals, captain of Sussex Young Ringers. Supportive and encouraging of others, welcomes beginners and gives constructive feedback. Organises young ringer events
Dedication: clearly very dedicated, ringing many years, regular practice nights, cathedral ringing and district surprise minor sessions.
Deepening skills/broaden experience: through regular practices, and learning new methods.
Use of funds: transport costs – especially an issue in rural areas. Good use of funding.

Really strong candidate – clear evidence of leadership skills, and comes over as enthusiastic, skilled and encouraging.
