I have been organising quarter peals/peals for the Leicester guild in the past year. This is so, Leicester ringers can ring more peals, and can ring more advanced methods! e.g Stedman cinques. Leicester ringing is now slowly increasing, and often we can ring Bristol Surprise Maximus at our monthly 12 bell practices. I have now organised a weekly peal band, to get the Leicester DG to ring more peals. The weekly peals, are also to raise money for St Mary de Castro, Leicester. This is because, the tower is in need for new ropes (10 ropes) and would like the go from a ring of 10, to a ring of 12!
With the money, I will spend £250 to donate to St Mary de Castro to get new ropes as some are falling apart, and the other £250 to use for train tickets, so I can take myself and a few other ringers down to ring at towers they have never rang at before, and for tower donations after a peal!

Leadership evidence: Shows organisational initiative in arranging peals, QPs, and weekly bands. Some leadership implied, though more descriptive detail on mentoring or developing others would strengthen this.
Use of funds: Clear and practical—split between donation for tower ropes and transport for group ringing.
✅ Good application but less explicitly focused on leadership growth.
Leadership: organises peals for Leicester guild, and has organised weekly peals.
Dedication: some evidence of this through their regular attendance and the peals organised.
SKills/experience: mentions ringing more and more advanced peals.
This application was really short – and that means that there is less evidence we can use to really argue his case.
Use of funds: half for ropes and half for transport. Good things to use it on – nice to want to spend it on tower and the advantages that brings – but good to see him using part for himself for transport – and also for transport costs for others. Generous of him.
what was in the application was good – more would have allowed him to show further evidence and score higher.
