I have helped open up the tower for visitors.
Helped decorate campsall church for Christmas & help run the christingle service for the churchwardens at campsall.
Opened up the minster for the practice session, arranged cones in the car park, looking after the chimes & set up the bells ready for ringing up. Made sure the heating is on. Decorated the Christmas tree for the tower captain & helped back away in new year.
Fitting muffles at campsall & Doncaster minster for Remembrance Sunday. Assisted with checking the bells at campsall & Doncaster minster for monthly bell maintenance.
Helped arrange ringing on practice sessions. Calling call changes & looking after general ringing for services & practices. Supporting ringing at Doncaster & district society monthly meetings. Planning outings for society members. And I'd use the money to build a dumbell for the tower to demonstrate to new ringers how a bell works and the rest of the money can go to the church roof as it needs urgent repairs.

  1. Leadership evidence: Shows helpfulness and involvement in tower tasks, some practice organisation, and calling call changes. However, leadership qualities are present but less developed compared to others.
Use of funds: Clear plan (building a dumbbell and supporting church repairs) but not clearly linked to developing Corey’s leadership.
✅ Good community spirit; leadership evidence could be deeper.

  2. Leadership: Planning outings for members; some planning of ringing sessions
Dedication: Obvious devotion to ringing through his willingness to do the work behind the scenes, including opening and closing up etc. Lots of community work which is invaluable
Skills/experience – little in here that shows much on his skills or the broadening of his experience.

Purchasing the dumbell is a good use of funds, in that this can be used to enhance his teaching. Although generous to want to help the church roof, the funding is designed to be for his own skills and enhancement.
