Notes

The Commonwealth War Graves Commission website shows his age as 33 and his mother being one Lillian Varey. Neither of these appear correct, Thomas William Varey was born during the 2nd quarter of 1915 so was aged 28 or possibly 29 when he died. The Lillian Varey referred to appears to be his sister born in 1919. His parents were John Varey and Elizabeth Varey (nee Oversby).
