With less than a month to go, arrangements should be well in hand for ringing to mark HM Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee.

Whilst the whole weekend lends itself to plenty of celebratory ringing it has been agreed that a focus for collective bellringing should coincide with the Service of Thanksgiving being held at St Paul’s on Friday 3 June at 11.30am.

To commemorate this a BellBoard event has been set up at https://bb.ringingworld.co.uk/event.php?id=14751 There will be a certificate attached to the event you can download to record your ringing and display in your tower. We anticipate a lot of traffic on the BellBoard site on that day so please do bear with it.

You may also want to enter your intended ringing as an event on the official government site at https://platinumjubilee.gov.uk/events/ particularly if you are holding an open day or taster session over the course of the weekend.
