“The chime of distant church bells”: Bellringing and the Churches Conservation Trust

There are hundreds of bells in churches looked after by the Churches Conservation Trust. In his talk on 15th December at 12:50-2pm, David Bagley describes how they are hung, how they are rung, and how they are used.

David has been an active church bell ringer since 1977 and since 1997 also been involved at the Churches Conservation Trust church at Strensham, looking after the bells which are mainly used for teaching purposes.

The lecture is free to get involved with and Livestreamed via the CCT’s Facebook page, this allows you to really engage with the talk and to submit your questions live. These lectures are recorded and will be available to watch afterward.  Click here to join the Facebook Live https://www.facebook.com/events/9194618050563880
